The companies Bemyvega, Readyme and Pamipe have been recognised with the 2020 Info‐Exolum Entrepreneur of the Year awards

The companies Bemyvega, Readyme and Pamipe received the 2020 Info‐Exolum Entrepreneur of the Year awards in a ceremony chaired by the Murcia regional minister of Business, Employment, Universities and Spokesperson, Valle Miguélez, and Exolum’s CEO, José Luis López de Silanes.
First prize, consisting of 6,000 euros, was given to Bemyvega, a company that develops equipment and software for monitoring presentations, classes, lectures, conferences or events which are designed to offer universal accessibility for everyone, particularly people with visual or hearing
impairments.
Second prize, for an amount of 4,000 euros, was given to Readyme, an online ordering platform specific to restaurants; and the third award, worth 2,000 euros, was given to Pamipe, an e‐commerce platform for custom dog food subscription services.
These regional awards have been presented since 2015 and aim at recognising newly created SMEs with potential for growth, as well as innovative companies that have been operational for less than 3 years.
Exolum’s CEO, José Luis López de Silanes, stressed that “the entrepreneurs in the Murcia region are first class” and encouraged them to “move forward, innovate and be passionate about what you do with the same energy as day one, as this is the only way to overcome everyday challenges.”
For his part, the regional minister Valle Miguélez noted, “making entrepreneurship initiatives visible, acknowledging their efforts and continuing to promote them as a driving force for economic development is one of my department’s objectives, focusing on the generation of quality jobs by supporting young entrepreneurs”. She also explained that “the region’s future lies in innovation and, for this reason, the regional government is working on opening the doors to creativity and technological development in the industrial sector so that, together with the expertise of both universities and researchers, these are transformed into a tangible reality that improves the lives of every citizen.”
Since 2012, the INFO has also been granting the Entrepreneur of the Month Awards, which have given 111 prizes and recognised over 450 companies that have applied for this distinction.
These awards offer recognition to business projects and to the people behind them, who strive to make such business idea successful.
Furthermore, the regional ministersigned an agreement with Exolum’s CEO in which Exolum agreed to continue supporting the creation and consolidation of businesses by offering financial aid for the organisation of the INFO‐Exolum Entrepreneur of the Year and the INFO Exolum Challenge awards, amounting to a total of 15,000 euros.
