The CLH Group, appointed Ambassador for European Excellence 2015

The company will promote its best practices in oil pipeline management internationally and help bolster the Marca España initiative.

The CLH Group has been appointed Ambassador for European Excellence 2015, a title created by the Club for Excellence in Management (CEG, Spanish acronym) in collaboration with the High Commissioner for Marca España from the Spanish Government in order to promote the excellence of Spanish organisations at the international level.

This honour was bestowed upon the company today in Madrid, during an event presided over by the Chairman of CEG, Juan Antonio Zufiria, and the High Commissioner for Marca España from the Spanish Government, Carlos Espinosa de los Monteros, who presented the award to the Chairman of CLH Group, José Luis López de Silanes.

Through this new European Excellence Ambassadors Programme, the CLH Group, as a bearer of the European Excellence Seal 500+, will work internationally to publicise its best practices in oil pipeline management.

To do this, both the CEG, with support from its network of international partners, and Marca España will help the company throughout the year to participate in publications, activities, events and management forums in which it can contribute its experience while also representing and fostering the Marca España initiative.

CLH has undertaken significant initiatives in recent years to bolster the excellence of its activities, most notably, the approval of a new Mission, Vision and Values Statement, the introduction of the CSR Master Plan, implementation of the EFQM European Excellence Model and the development of an ambitious internationalisation plan.

In addition to the European Excellence Seal 500+, the company also holds other credentials, such as the Silver Class Sustainability seal granted by the prestigious agency, RobecoSAM, the Family Responsible Company certificate from the Másfamilia Foundation and diverse quality and environmental certificates.

Together with CLH, three other entities have received this distinction: the Alcobendas City Council, the Integrated Medical Assistance Management Office of Soria and the Moncloa University Hospital.
