About us

Exolum Ventures develops new business areas in decarbonisation, circularity and innovation, all in line with the needs associated with the energy transition.

Our work focuses on four pillars:

Renewable gases

Hydrogen: we aim to become a relevant player in the supply of green hydrogen (H₂) for mobility purposes. We will also support the decarbonisation of the industrial landscape of our markets, in collaboration with other relevant players.
Biogas: we promote the development of biogas and we harness this experience to acquire skills that are applicable to H₂ aimed at obtaining benefits relating to the use of natural gas vehicles (NGV).
Carriers: we support carrier technological development and identify business opportunities around existing assets in storage and transportation.

Transformation and circular optimisation

Advanced biofuels and recycled fuels: development of alternative fuels from sustainable sources. We focus on maritime and land logistics which are open to molecule exposure.
Water: we explore and identify business areas for investment where technology, efficiency and optimisation represent a competitive advantage.
Synthetic fuels: we undertake technological development to convert CO₂ to fuel.

Renewable energy and CO₂ management

Energy storage: we identify and develop business models for massive renewable energy storage that respond to the great challenge of energy storage.
Carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS): we research and promote technologies and business models that reduce carbon emissions, mainly in the industrial sector, and seek alternative uses for this product.

Entrepreneurial ecosystem

Entrepreneurship: we promote open innovation and business entrepreneurship linked to our areas of interest by investing in and supporting entrepreneurs in various ways.
