Our team of experts works closely with airports to develop customised designs that meet the highest industry standards. We use cutting-edge technology and sustainable practices to create infrastructure that is not only functional, but also environmentally friendly and efficient.

In the UK, we provide warehousing and transport logistics services to various military installations and some of the country’s major airports, including Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Manchester, as well as 10 other regional airports supplied by tanker truck

We operate a 142,000m² capacity storage terminal on the River Shannon estuary, a strategic port for the distribution of refined products and liquids throughout the country. We also manage the fuel storage terminal at Dublin Airport, which has a capacity of 15,000 cubic metres and a hydrant network, where we provide fuel reception, storage and dispatch logistics services to all fuel suppliers operating there.

We operate two warehousing facilities in Germany, located in the inland port of Mannheim, strategically located on the River Rhine. At these terminals we offer storage and handling services for oil and chemical products, as well as quick access to the ports of Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Antwerp.

We offer storage and blending services for refined products and biofuels at our Amsterdam terminal located in Europe’s leading petrol blending hub with 6 ship berths.

Exolum operates fuel storage and distribution infrastructure at two of Portugal’s main airports: Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon and Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport in Madeira.

In Lisbon, Exolum was awarded the concession tendered by ANA – Aeroportos de Portugal (VINCI Airports) to manage and maintain the airport’s fuel storage facility and hydrant network. It will also carry out various infrastructure upgrades to enable the supply of sustainable aviation fuels (SAF).

At Madeira Airport, Exolum is responsible for operating the fuel storage plant and the hydrant network. The contract also includes the expansion and modernization of the facilities, an increase in storage capacity, and the implementation of new control and safety systems. These actions will strengthen operational safety and efficiency, while preparing the infrastructure to meet the future needs of the aviation sector.

In January 2024 Exolum won the tender for the operation and maintenance of the airport storage facilities and hydrant network at Paris-Charles de Gaulle International Airport from April 2025 and we will make improvements that will enable the supply of SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel).

Exolum and Royal Vopak have a 50/50 interest in the only marine ammonia terminal in the Houston Ship Channel that has a deepwater berth suitable for Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGC) and is strategically connected by pipeline to the Port of Houston petrochemical complex, the largest petrochemical HUB in the United States and the second largest in the world, making it a key facility. The facility currently provides ammonia and natural gas liquid (NGL) storage services

Exolum has been in Panama since 2017, following the award of the tender for the operation and maintenance of the storage and onboard turnaround service facilities at Tocumen International Airport and five other regional airports in Panama, in what is the Group’s first foray into the Americas. Exolum will operate Tocumen International Airport, which serves the Panamanian capital and is considered the Hub of the Americas, and Panama Pacifico, Scarlett Martinez, Enrique Jimenez, Enrique Colon and Marcos A. Gelabert airports for the next 10 years.

Exolum is building a new fuel storage plant and a new hydrant system at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima to expand its capacity, after being awarded the tender called by LAP (Lima Airport Partners). The company will also operate these new infrastructures and carry out maintenance and refuelling activities.
