The CLH Group sponsors the publication of the book “Wild Africa”

  • This initiative aims to contribute to the knowledge and preservation of one of the last natural paradises on Earth

The CLH Group has sponsored the publication of the book “Wild Africa” with the aim of contributing to the knowledge and preservation of one of the last natural paradises on Earth.

This piece of work, published by Turner publishing house, offers a striking visual journey to the most fascinating continent on the planet, thanks to the images captured by the award-winning Italian photographer, Alex Bernasconi.

The book travels to the heart of Africa and offers in its pages a complete tour, taking in its wildlife, its haunting sunsets, challenging-looking felines, robust gorillas or largely unknown bird species.

This publication is the result of several expeditions made by Bernasconi to the most remote areas of the continent and it includes a selection of his best photographs from among over one thousand eight hundred taken every week.

In addition, it includes an introduction written by the chairman of the CLH Group, José Luis López de Silanes, and the chief executive officer, Jorge Lanza, explaining the aim of this initiative as follows: “We hope that this book, through its images and the beauty it conveys, will manage to consolidate the commitment to preserving and strengthening our environment, in which we firmly believe.”

Turner has also posted a video on CLH’s YouTube channel, where the chairman and the chief executive officer share their impressions regarding this piece of work.

The CLH Group will use this book as a corporate gift for its staff and stakeholders during this holiday season.

As part of its concern for environmental protection, the company has published several books over the last few years related to the environment. “Wild Africa” is the second publication of a series devoted to the planet Earth which CLH started last year with a book on Antarctica. The company has previously sponsored other publications on unusual nature, monumental trees and Spanish landscapes.
