The CLH Group obtains the 2015 Silver Class Sustainability distinction awarded by the assessment agency RobecoSAM

  • The company ranks in the second highest position at international level in the oil and gas storage and transportation industry.

The CLH Group has been awarded the Silver Class Sustainability distinction after an assessment performed by the agency RobecoSAM in recognition of its corporate social responsibility policy and the initiatives developed over the last few years in economic, social and environmental matters.

According to the results published in the report “The Sustainability Yearbook 2015”, the company ranks in the second highest position in the “oil & gas storage & transportation companies” industry, which includes other large global companies such as the US company Spectra Energy Corp and the Canadian companies Enbridge and Transcanada.

The assessment carried out by the analysts from RobecoSAM covers three basic dimensions: economic, environmental and social. The main criteria used as a basis for the report include the following: implementation of Codes of Conduct, activity diversification, environmental protection and biodiversity, occupational health and safety, and social impact on communities.

RobecoSAM is the agency responsible for assessing companies that wish to enter the prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability Index, where 14 Spanish companies are currently listed. CLH participates in the assessment performed by RobecoSAM in order to identify opportunities and areas for improvement and to integrate them in its strategy.
