The Chairman of the CLH Group meets the President of the regional government of Cantabria

The Chairman of the CLH Group, José Luis Lopez de Silanes, met today in Santander with the President of the regional government of Cantabria, Miguel Ángel Revilla, to explain the company’s activities in relation to the supply of fuels to the region.

In Cantabria, CLH has a facility located at Santander airport, from which it supplies aviation kerosene to the airlines operating in the terminal.

The company also supplies oil products to Cantabria from nearby facilities located in Santurce (Vizcaya) and Gijón (Asturias), therefore providing great supply flexibility and security to the region.

In 2014, CLH supplied more than 420,000 cubic metres of fuels, mainly diesel oils, to oil operators in order to meet end user demand.

The CLH Group is the leading company in Spain for oil product transportation and storage. The company has infrastructures in Spain consisting of 4,000 kilometres of oil pipelines and 39 storage facilities, with capacity for 8 million cubic metres, as well as 28 airport facilities located at the main Spanish airports.

In its latest report, the IEA (International Energy Agency) highlighted the “flexibility and efficiency” of the Spanish oil products logistics system.

On an international level, the company is present in the United Kingdom, through its subsidiary, CLH-PS, where it manages an infrastructures network composed of 2,000 kilometres of oil pipelines and 16 storage facilities with a capacity of one million cubic metres. Furthermore, CLH is also developing a major project in the Sultanate of Oman where it has established, in conjunction with Orpic, a company named OLC which is building an oil pipeline and a storage facility in said country.
