Deliveries of oil products from Exolum terminals to the Spanish market increased by 46% in May compared to the same period of the previous year, although they remain 17.6% below May 2019 levels

Deliveries of oil products from Exolum terminals to the Spanish market during May reached 2,7 million cubic metres, 46% more than in the same period of the previous year, after correction of the seasonal effect. Compared to the pre pandemic period – May 2019 – deliveries remain 17.6% below their level in 2019 after correcting for the calendar effect.

Analysed by product type, deliveries of gasolines remained 1.1% higher than in May 2019, and diesel fuel outflows were 8.1% lower than in the same period of 2019. Overall, motor fuel outflows reached 2 million cubic meters, standing 6.3% below their level in 2019, although 61.1% above their level in 2020 .

Regarding the total for diesel fuels (automotive + off road + heating oil), deliveries amounted 2 million cubic metres, 6.6% less than in 2019 May and 29.2% more than the same period of 2020.

Lastly, deliveries of kerosenes exceeded 189,300 cubic metres, representing a decrease of 71.3% compared with May of 2019 and an increase of 246.1% compared to May of 2020.
