CLH donates a power generator set to Es Castell city council

CLH has donated a power generator set to Es Castell city council to be used for the town public school, football pitch and other related facilities.

The agreement was signed by the mayor of Es Castell, José Luis Camps, and the head of operations of CLH in Mahón, Pau Serra, during a meeting held in the city hall.

The donation is part of the CLH Group Corporate Social Responsibility policy, which aims at contributing to the well-being and development of the communities where the company is present through projects relating to social actions, culture, education, environmental protection and entrepreneurship support.

CLH manages a storage facility in Menorca with a capacity of 34,500 cubic metres and equipped with an automated loading area for road tankers that distributes fuel to service stations and other consumers in the island, as well as to the airport in Maó.

CLH Group

The CLH Group is the leading company in the transport and storage of oil products in the Spanish market. It is the second largest operator in Europe in terms of pipeline network extension and storage capacity.

In Spain, the CLH Group has a pipeline network over 4,000 kilometres in length and 40 storage facilities with capacity for 8 million cubic metres, as well as 28 airport facilities at the main airports.

Apart from the facility in Mahón, CLH has three other storage facilities in the Balearic Islands, two in Palma de Mallorca and one in Ibiza.

The pipeline network in the Balearic Islands is over 50 kilometres long, mainly covering Mallorca, where it connects the company facilities in the island, including a pumping facility, and a multi-product pipeline in Menorca connecting the storage facility and the port.

Through its subsidiary CLH Aviación, the company also has infrastructure in the four airports across the Balearic Islands, where it provides into-plane fuelling services.

At the international level, the company is developing an ambitious expansion plan, and is now present in four countries: the UK, Oman, Ireland and Panama. It also plans to develop a new project in Mexico.
