Chair in Metrology at the Polytechnic University of Madrid

In 2006, thanks to the agreement entered into by Exolum and the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM), the Chair in Hydrocarbon Metrology was created focusing on three areas: training, RDI and laboratory work.

The Chair is taught at the University School of Mining and covers different activities including classes, research and development. The collaboration between Exolum and the School has resulted in the consolidation of highly relevant research projects, representing a great advancement with a significant practical application in Exolum.

Moreover, the chair offers scholarships for end-of-degree projects relating to hydrocarbon metrology, in addition to the possibility for selected students to work as interns in Exolum, thus proving a strong commitment with the education of young people.
