The CLH Group presents the Red Cross with a donation of €120,000 collected for its “Responde” Plan

The CLH Group has given the Spanish Red Cross a donation of €120,000 collected by the company and its employees to support the “Responde” Plan (Response Plan), the charity’s Coronavirus appeal.

The presentation was attended by the Secretary General of the Spanish Red Cross, Francisco Gabriel Sánchez Parodi, and the Business Alliance and Social Responsibility Manager, José Carlos García Yonte, who were accompanied by the CLH Global People Lead, Cristina Jaraba, and the CLH Communication Manager, María Luisa De Lamor.

This support has made it possible to assist 1,200 families who faced a complicated financial situation as a result of the pandemic. Of the €120,000 collected, €100,000 was donated by the company and the other €20,000 by the company’s employees themselves, demonstrating their personal commitment to the cause and their wish to help those most in need.

Francisco Gabriel Sánchez Parodi, Secretary General of the Spanish Red Cross, wished to dedicate a few words to CLH and its workers, because “thanks to your support and your contributions, we have been able to help a lot of people”.

The Red Cross “Responde” Plan (Response Plan) is a project set up by the organisation with the aim of mitigating the health and social consequences that have arisen in Spain as a consequence of COVID-19 .  Through this project, companies and organisations are asked for cooperation to help the people and families most affected by the health crisis and provide them with the means to keep going.
