The chairman of the CLH Group meets in Valladolid with the president of the regional government of Castilla y León

  • Since 2010, CLH and ICE have collaborated in the ADE2020 Programme for promoting entrepreneurship

The chairman of the CLH Group, José Luis Lopez de Silanes, met today in Valladolid with the president of the regional government of Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, to talk about the company and explain to him its main activities in the region.

The CLH Group manages four terminals in Castilla y León, located in Burgos, Santovenia de Pisuerga (Valladolid), Castellanos de Moriscos (Salamanca) and León. Furthermore, through CLH Aviación, it provides services at the airports in Salamanca, Burgos, Valladolid and León, where the company has airport facilities that supply aviation fuel to the airlines operating at those airports.

The CLH pipeline network in the region is 490 kilometres long and connects all the facilities to each other, while linking to the rest of the network in Spain in Miranda de Ebro. This network also has two pipeline and pumping facilities located in Palencia and Santovenia de Pisuerga.

Over the last ten years, the company has invested over 50 million euros in the construction of two new facilities in Burgos and Castellanos de Moriscos (Salamanca) to replace two other plants that were located near the relevant city centres, thus freeing up this land to be used for other purposes.

Moreover, the company has invested nearly six million euros over the last five years, mainly in maintenance projects and environmental and safety improvements.

In 2019, CLH supplied more than 2.8 million cubic metres of fuel from its facilities in Castilla y León to various oil operators in order to meet the demand of end users.

ADE2020 Programme

The CLH Group and the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICE) have had a collaboration agreement in place since 2014, which has enabled the company to award the most unique projects from the latest editions of the ADE 2020 programme as part of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Network promoted by the regional government of Castilla y León.

The ADE 2020 “Innovative project accelerator” programme is an initiative of the ICE aimed at helping entrepreneurs develop their innovative ideas and make them into business opportunities.
