Deliveries of oil products from CLH facilities to the Spanish market decreased by 22.3% in March due to the COVID-19 crisis

Deliveries of oil products from CLH Group facilities to the Spanish market during March exceeded 2.6 million cubic metres, 22.3% less than in the same period of the previous year, after correction of the seasonal effect, influenced by the movement restriction measures decreed by the Government to face the COVID-19 crisis.

Analysed by product type, deliveries of gasolines experienced a decline of 35.5% and automotive diesel decreased by 26.5%. Deliveries of automotive fuels as a whole decreased by 28.2% and exceeded 1.6 million cubic metres.

Regarding the total for diesel fuels (automotive + off road + heating oil), deliveries amounted more than 2 million cubic metres, 15.8% less than in the same period of 2019.

Lastly, deliveries of kerosenes exceeded 289,000 cubic metres, representing a decrease of 42.5% compared with March of last year.

Contingency Plan

As a result of this crisis, CLH Group has activated a Contingency Plan, which it maintains active, to protect the health of everyone working within the company and to ensure operations at its infrastructures and fuel supply. 

In accordance with the measures foreseen in this plan, CLH facilities operate as usual and without incidents in the development of its activities.

In addition, personal protection measures have been intensified, the cleaning and disinfection of areas and equipment reinforced, and contingency plans with partner companies and essential material suppliers have been activated.
