CLH Aviación has successfully started its operations at six new airports (namely, Tenerife Sur, Valladolid, San Sebastián, León, Melilla and Granada), thus strengthening its leadership in Spain and its position as one of the leading operators globally.

This is the first time that CLH Aviación provides services in the Canary Islands. More specifically, it now manages the storage facility and hydrant network at Tenerife Sur, the second largest airport in volume of activity in the Canary Islands, with 450k cubic metres of fuel supplied last year.

Tenerife Sur is the fifth most important airport where CLH Aviación is present in Spain and the sixth hydrant network to be managed by the company in the country, after Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas, Barcelona-El Prat, Málaga, Palma de Mallorca and Alicante.

At the other airports (San Sebastián, León, Valladolid, Granada and Melilla), it has become the manager of the fuel storage facilities and the provider of into-plane fuelling services.

With these new additions, CLH Aviación is now present at all the airports that AENA awarded to the company in recent tendering processes, after starting its operations in Burgos on 15 April and in Reus and Sabadell on 5 November. Moreover, the company also commenced its operations in September at Ciudad Real airport.

CLH Aviación is present in a total of 37 Spanish airports and it provides services abroad at Dublin airport (Ireland) and in Guayaquil (Ecuador), as well as Tocumen, Marco A. Gelabert, Scarlett Martínez and Panamá Pacífico, which will be soon joined by Enrique Jiménez de Colón and Enrique Malek, in Panama.

The company is a Strategic Partner of IATA and a member of the Joint Inspection Group (JIG), where it is an active participant in the Technical Forum and the Operations Committee, which entails the application of the best international practices with regard to operations and safety, occupational safety and environmental management.

It also participates on several committees and subcommittees of the Energy Institute, is an affiliate member of the ALTA (Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association) and a member of the ACI-LAC (the regional office of the Airports Council International in Latin America and the Caribbean).
