LGBTQ+ inclusion at work matters. At Exolum, we are committed to creating safe and inclusive work environments for all people, regardless of their gender identity, sexual characteristics, gender expression or sexual orientation. As a company in a traditionally conservative sector, this journey has taken reflection and courage. While we’re at the early stages of our LGBTQ+ inclusion eorts, we are extremely committed to fostering allyship towards the LGBTQ+ community internally and arming our support for LGBTQ+ colleagues.
Since 2023, we are proud members of REDI, Spain’s first network of businesses and
experts dedicated to LGBTQ+ diversity and inclusion. Being part of REDI has allowed us
to engage with a vibrant network of professionals and organisations committed to sharing best practices and insights on LGBTQ+ inclusion.
Our recent Self-Identification Survey revealed that 5.4% of respondents identify as LGBTQ+, with another 1.6% choosing not to answer. Internally, we are actively encouraging employees to step forward as visible allies—taking the first step toward raising awareness, fostering understanding, and creating safe, inclusive spaces for everyone. Normalising allyship and making it part of our everyday culture is the first step towards becoming a more inclusive workplace for the LGBTQ+ community.
