What is Management of Change?
The goal of the MoC process is to provide a coherent and systematic approach to ensure that the changes produce their intended benefits without side-effects or over-complication.
Changes in scope of the MoC process are changes to:
- People
- Safety
- Process
- Environment
- Plant
- Changes shall have a defined scope and aim.
- Suitable and sufficient information shall be used to support the process.
- Reviews of changes shall be subject to the appropriate level of authority.
- People, processes and plant changes shall be subject to appropriate Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment reviews.
- MoC shall ensure that the change is reflected on all relevant documents.
- MoC shall ensure that the change be communicated and/or training provided to affected personnel.
