Exolum begins operation of fuel storage and distribution network at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, where it will invest more than €200 million

The company will manage and maintain the fuel storage infrastructure and distribution network at for 20 years at the European Union’s largest airport, which handled more than 70 million passengers last year

Madrid, 04, June 2025. Exolum has today begun operating the fuel storage and distribution network at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, the European Union’s largest airport. Exolum will manage and maintain the fuel distribution facilities after being awarded a 20-year concession by Aéroports de Paris (ADP).

In agreement with the ADP Group, Exolum will invest more than €200 million in the maintenance and improvement of existing storage and supply infrastructure, as well as the development of new capabilities.

To carry out the operation, Exolum has onboarded a team of more than 30 people, almost half of whom come from the outgoing operator. All personnel have undergone a dedicated induction process over recent months to ensure alignment with Exolum’s operational standards and corporate values.

The current facilities at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport have a storage capacity of 82,000 cubic metres, distributed across two dispatch storage tanks and a hydrant network of more than 81 kilometres. Exolum operates a broad range of fuel storage and distribution infrastructure, both within airport boundaries and at off-site locations, including extensive hydrant network systems. In addition to managing these assets, the company delivers aircraft refuelling services and a suite of specialised, high-expertise operations across airports in six countries throughout Europe and Latin America.

Exolum is also a strategic partner of IATA and an active member of the Joint Inspection Group (JIG). The company currently chairs the Energy Institute’s aviation committee and holds Affiliate Membership with both ALTA (Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association) and ACI (Airports Council International).
