Low-carbon energy for a more sustainable world

Hydrogen, ammonia, sustainable fuels and CO2.

Committed to building a more sustainable world, providing logistics solutions that contribute to the energy transition.

Hydrogen

Hydrogen is a vital energy vector for the energy transition process. Exolum believes green hydrogen is an alternative for decarbonising transport sectors and industries where electrification represents a technological challenge.

Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carriers (LOHC) are organic compounds that can absorb and release hydrogen through chemical reactions, representing a new model for fast, flexible and efficient green hydrogen transport and storage by taking advantage of existing pipeline and tank infrastructures.

Ammonia

Green ammonia offers a viable and sustainable solution for reducing carbon emissions in key sectors such as the fertiliser industry, replacing fuels currently used in the maritime sector and acting as a hydrogen carrier.

Exolum aims to position itself in the development of this logistics infrastructure to supply the sectors that require this type of service.

Sustainable fuels

In response to the energy transition, O&G and petrochemical companies are adapting their production processes to take in and process new raw materials as an alternative to fossil fuels, commercialising circular fuels and products with a lower carbon footprint, such as biodiesel, biomethanol, bioethanol, HVO, SAF or recycled plastics, among others.

At Exolum we focus on providing logistical, storage and transport solutions tailored to customers’ needs in relation to sustainable fuels and raw materials.

CO₂

Within the energy transition, for sectors where CO2 emissions abatement is difficult or impossible, carbon capture is a solution for reducing the levels emitted into the earth’s atmosphere. This CO2 can then be stored in caves or used for the production of synthetic biofuels, where biogenic CO2 from organic sources can also be used.

At Exolum we want to help these industries meet this complex challenge, participating in CO2 logistics projects, developing the most efficient logistics possible between CO2 emitters and the points of use (synthetic fuel plants) or final storage.

Business venturing

We promote open innovation and entrepreneurship linked to our areas of interest by investing and providing all sorts of support to entrepreneurs.
