The Real Madrid Foundation, CLH and the City Council of San Fernando de Henares renew their project

  • The Social Values and Football Sports School will kick off its eighth season in October

The Executive Vice-President of the Real Madrid Foundation, Enrique Sánchez, the Director of Institutional Relations for Real Madrid F.C., Emilio Butragueño, and the Chairman of the CLH Group, José Luis López de Silanes, have been welcomed  by the Mayor of San Fernando de Henares, Javier Corpa, and the City Councillor of Sports, José García, during an event for the presentation of the collaboration agreement, signed once again this year by these entities, for the development of a social values and sports school managed in the city by the Real Madrid Foundation.

In its nine years of existence, over 600 boys and girls have attended the social and sports school of the Real Madrid Foundation, which educates in social values for the integration of all children between the ages of 5 and 17, thanks to the cooperation of the City Council (both sports and social services areas) and the support of CLH.

Butragueño: "You have to work hard to improve every day."

This time, Butragueño highlighted the relevance of the values conveyed through sport and the importance of the commitment by children to their education off the field, at home and at school.

López de Silanes: "We support their education as people through sport."

"For the ninth consecutive year, the CLH Group is honoured to sponsor the Social and Sports School. This makes us extremely happy because it aims to educate on how to live together and to promote tolerance and social integration, which are essential values in society, and this has a pivotal importance on children maturing through sports."

Javier Corpa: "This is an interesting project."

"In addition to promoting a healthy lifestyle, the Social and Sports School promotes values that are highly relevant such as respect, teamwork and social integration. This local government is committed to continuing its support for programmes that use sports to educate children."
